Giropay is an online banking service popular in Germany. To deposit, users need only a bank account with one of the banks. Transfers are processed immediately and are absolutely secure. It is similar to the Interac system in Canada or iDEAL system in the Netherlands.
All transactions made via Giropay are protected by two-factor authentization - most usually with a keychain token or a pushTAN application. The merchant (seller) does not receive any sensitive or billing information about the customer because Giropay protects this information.
Methods of deposit
You can also deposit by Paysafecard - prepaid cards that can be bought for cash in many places, most often at gas stations, newsagents and some grocery stores.
